Images of our Life

HomeThank you for passing by.... .... ...Aug 12, 2005
Photography is my interest but I aren't good enough to have it support my life expenses. Sometimes in our lifes, we move so fast that we forget about all the beautiful things that is around us. The country develops so rapidly that she forgots about memories that have to be kept for our next generations to come. Even monuments are made to look good as new...

Photography is an art. We all can help to bring back those memories or moods to those who forget that they have to look back...

Please drop me some pointers or comments on the pictures. Thank you for taking a look around or for your kind comments/critics. :)

Chance upon the scene while on the way home from work. Coincidentally, the firefighters were just starting to break through the gates of the shop located on the second level. However, thick black smoke was already finding its way through the gates.

<

The smoke basically affects the entire area which consists of four blocks of flats. Also witness paramedics heading for some flats located right above the fire. Even, staying one block away from the scene, I felt the effect of inhaling the smoke, pretty badly.

I couldn't imagine, as much as I thought I always have nice colleagues around, now that I have just walk into a cloud, a dark thick cloud.

Hypocrite as by definition is a person who puts on a false appearance of virtue or acts in contradiction to his stated beliefs or feelings. I never have the honours to come so close to one, I mean a very cunning one.

Life is a mess and it all started with some serious briefing over company regulations which were supposed to be followed but yet to be followed by this particular person. Well, of course, as suggested by 'yet to be followed', the brief couldn't be just yet another casual brief.

Someone who claims to be a leader previously, and talks like an expert over everything. Not even the basic courtesy of maintaining conversation contacts. Well, either the floor or the table top looks more interesting. To my horror, the issue of 'do but don't get caught' came as a desperate explanation from this person.

It is as if someone who is caught stealing telling you that as long you didn't see it, I can steal! So...why don't you turn around and let me do it?

Yes, I said that, but unfortunately YOU ARE CAUGHT red-handed. Pity you to have the cheek to bring the issue up. I wonder is that how you show appreciation for someone who gave you the benefit previously.

Next, the explanation of more or less equals to yes. Since usage of handphone is supposed to be a big NO in the company, I have requested for him to cut down on usage as the phone seems to be glued onto his hands permanently. There comes the theory that whether he use alot or lesser still consider using. So does it mean even the company pays him ONE DOLLAR he is still considered paid? I mean this is ridiculous, stepping right onto the benefit he was given.

Worse, he called someone above me and complain about my briefing!!! WTF is this world? The whole issue is, he prefers to get away from his faults not by facing it but by turning the story around with things that never exactly happened!

Such a sad b@st@rd...stop messing with other's life. The whole place is suffering as a result of your irresponsible actions and lies..

I wished that you return to your 'planet' soon...

Finally, this much talked about player is released here locally. However, as for now, not many stores are carrying the stocks. Some retailers are even puzzled and irritated by my queries over a player that they aren't aware of.

The main feature of this player is Samsung's DNSe 3.0 sound technology which is supposed to restore the quality lost during format conversions. It is the first player that features their new version of this technology. It has a 2.4" LCD screen for your videos (which requires conversion using the bundled software). The touch controls are basically located at the bottom portion of the player. It features a rather similar method of touch control with the K3. However, it is good to note that, frustrations are imminent, as you might happen to land your finger just off the supposed area and end up in a different menu. That is just like its predecessors.

The rated playback time is 30 hrs and for videos is 4 hrs.

I am not here to exactly provide any reviews but just to say that, it is a decent and inexpensive player to own. Good sound quality and I am definitely a fan of Samsung music players

.

The usual reset button still can be found behind the player. Do note that the entire player is a fingerprint super-magnet.

It is available in Silver, Black and White with storage size of either 4GB or 8GB. I was told that White was not available and I end up getting black.

Recommended retail price is at S$189 (4GB) or S$229 (8GB) - as from what I have seen at a major electronic chain.

More information can be obtained from Samsung Singapore's website at: YP-Q1

Again I have to mention that when people is complaining on the retail standards here...I must say customer 5UCK5 even more!

Maybe I should share some 'nice' experience of thick skin people from time to time whenever I have any incident so that, well, do reflect.

Today I came across this weirdo customer. I was clearing some stuff up in the store and was called to the sales floor with indications that a customer wishes to provide feedback. The moment I approached him, he starts his not so productive feedback. He started saying that our items are locked up and that it should not, so that customers can have a good look at the item without asking for assistance. He also mentioned that we even locked up some of the items that is only worth about $12 (please note that item is right beside the entrance and is a blind spot). He made alot of fuss over it and mention that he will go to another company where they do not lock theirs (note that company usually have no crowd). While he is making such 'wonderful feedback', I do wonder whether he is someone who thinks logically...our shop never has a moment with NO customer and about 75% of the time, all staff will be engaged with some customers. No boss likes shopliftings, furthermore I am just an employee, does it help? Not to mentioned, personally, I have been threatened by shoplifters when they were arrested and also known of a few cases where the shoplifter actually fight back and injured the staff. Wasn't it necessary to prevent it in the first place? I wonder how would his young son think when his dad is making such a big fuss at the store. Just another bad example to his son. It is as if you are telling the car salesman to leave the car keys in the car so that the customer can 'test drive' ANYTIME to anywhere...I am glad he does not work with the police, if not he will encourage everyone to leave their doors unlocked.

When we are already going to close our store...this family came up to me and asked for job vacancies for her daughter. Firstly we are closing and we are preparing for a VIP visit the following day. Second, they asked in a way that we owe them. They started asking about work hours, repeatedly, till the son have to repeat for them. Then they ask for pay. Finally they ask for part-time position which I told them its filled and we need only full timers. It was then I passed the job over to my other colleague asking him to pass them the form. Right there, the parents tell their daughter if you don't like can just don't come to work lor. WTF????? In the end, they left after second thoughts.... WHAT KIND OF PARENTS? This is not the first time I see parents asking for job for their children. Yet, as adults they do not have a basic courtesy to ask nicely but instead ask in a interrogating tone...
